PADI OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION

• The entrance dock fee is $2 USD per person. Please note that this fee is not included and should be paid at check-in.
• The minimum age for participation is 10 years old.
• Expecting mothers are not permitted to participate.
• Certified divers must provide proof of their certification.
• In accordance with PADI's recommendations, certified divers are advised not to fly within 18 hours after completing two or more dives in a single day.
• Participation is restricted for guests with respiratory, cardiovascular, or ear problems.
• It is essential to refrain from diving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Divers are required to be in good mental and physical health.
• Before participating, all participants must sign an acknowledgment of risk.
• All divers will be asked to complete a medical clearance questionnaire.

KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT

During our PADI Open Water Diver Certification course, you'll delve into essential scuba diving theory. You'll gain insights into dive equipment, dive planning, safety procedures, the underwater environment, and more. This knowledge is vital for safe and enjoyable diving.

Please note that this part of our course can be completed before you even set foot in Cabo! With PADI’s eLearning program, start your bookwork whenever, wherever! Take things at your own pace and don’t waste a moment on your vacation!

CONFINED WATER TRAINING

You'll embark on a series of pool sessions as well, totaling at least five dives. Here, you'll apply your theoretical knowledge to practice, honing your scuba skills. You'll learn fundamental techniques like buoyancy control, regulator use, underwater communication, and more.

OPEN WAER DIVES

Our Open Water Certification course also includes four dives at local dive sites, all under the guidance of your experienced PADI-certified instructor. These open water dives allow you to put your newly acquired skills to the test in real underwater environments. You'll gain experience, confidence, and the ability to dive safely and responsibly.
